Hey guys! Just wanted to drop a note and give you the short version about me. I have since a very young age loved throwing parties for people (showers, birthdays whatever if there are great people, good food and a reason to put them both together I'm willing and want to!), whether it be from hosting a surprise party for a childhood friend at the age of 12, to now as a mom doing big birthday parties I just love it!!!

 I'm a wife (coming up on  8 yrs of marriage 12 years together) and
mother of three kids my oldest is a boy (R - 6), then my daughter (K - 2) and our youngest much to our surprise (because before my daughter  there were only three girls born into the Foster family in 60+ years) is another daughter (H - 4 mo), becoming a mother for me has been the best, most amazing, most chaotic ride that I'm so very thankful to be apart of and that is why for their birthday's I like to go all out and celebrate, it's my way to let them know (besides the every day to day things of course) that I'm so very grateful they are mine, they picked me to be theirs and I will forever be in their debt.  So most of this blog will be about their birthday parties I have done and will be doing (this year I will have three in three months its gonna be crazy!), I do also love to try new recipes, new activities and crafties I'll share those as well. Anyways I hope this blog helps you or that you at least just enjoy our story :)

But I'm also a procrastinator, maybe not so much on purpose, but almost everything I do is last minute, fly by the seat of my pants timing lol, (hence the name of the blog). But with that I've learned some tips of pulling stuff off that looks like I've been spending days if not months on it, I'll share with you, if you promise not to hold my procrastinating mommy traits against me!

Brace yourself! Your about to get a front row seat into our chaotic lives and everything that comes with it!!!!!!

6 to 13.1..... that escalated quickly!!

Hey guys!!!  So a couple of months ago, I won an entry into the Salt Lake City Marathon (wahoo free!!), but due to Utah freakish weather, my aversion to cold and my clumsiness on dry flat ground let alone icy ground at higher (haha not that high) speeds I pushed off training until the last part of February first part of March, so I started training and was as slow as molasses, but, I was training and getting off the couch, getting some me time (mom win with three kids its hard) and learning to push myself!!!! Last Friday  4/21 I did the longest run in my entire life 6.61 miles, I did it in 2 hrs and 6 min. That friday was also the deadline for registration with my free code, so with some coaxing from SIL (she was doing the half) and IDK runners high from the long run, I registered for the half marathon. Holy time flew by batman!!! LOL I've been meaning to post and then well if you haven't figured out by the title of this blog time is a struggle for me lol but I'm going to try and post more often, so yeah lucky for you you'll get more of me and all this hotmess mom goodness lol  So today's post is all about dinner and how I cooked and made it, I'm going to a pologize right now, I cook like my Gfunk  (grandmother who was too funky to be called grandma lol) did, no measuring just a dash of this, mixing together and adding til it tastes right, I used to curse her when I needed a recipe of hers because she would say just a dash of this, in fact, for my wedding I requested just a cookbook of hers that had specific measurements lol.
